Catzware (pronounced caz-where) is a software company that was founded on January 26th, 2000 by Justin Graziano. We were founded in the state of New Jersey (in the USA) but then relocated to the state of Florida (also in the USA) in 2002 when Justin moved to Florida. One of the biggest and most popular questions we are constantly asked is "Do you do anything relating to cats, pets, or other animal related services?". The answer to that question is "NO!". The reason we're called Catzware (originally just Catz) is because Justin absolutely loves cats so, after he couldn't think of anything better he decided to call it Catz. Then, late next year, after much confusion with cat and pet related services, he was going to change the name to something more suitable for a company until his cat, Nick, died. As a way to make sure that he, and everyone else, would never forget him, he kept the name Catz and simply added the word ware to the end to make the name Catzware. Please note that Catzware has absolutely nothing what so ever, to do with cats or any other animals in any way, shape, or form. We focus on making quality software products available for the most recent versions of the Windows family of operating systems. We currently have a total of nine programs available.
Name Change
From January 26th, 2000 (the day we were founded) until September 5th, 2006 our name was Catz and not Catzware (although it was often written as Catz Corp or Catz Industries even though the actual legal name did not include either corp or industries in it). However, due to the many complaints and confusion being caused by the fact that the name Catz is very similar to the word cat, the name was changed to "the more software company appropriate name" Catzware on September 6th, 2006.

Catzware is dedicated to Nick the cat who died on October 26th, 2001 of a tumor. Nick wasn't just your ordinary house cat, he was an absolute dream cat, the type of cat you would see on TV. He was... a very special cat. Justin reminds you all that the name Catzware is dedicated, in memory, to this poor cat which he hopes no one will ever forget.
